Markup Codes for Post Text:
To add smileys or links into your post text, you need to enter the appropriate markup code. For the smileys, these are fairly simple keyboard character smileys, that will be replaced with simple graphics in the resulting post. For links, the process is slightly more complicated; you'll need to bracket the text you want to be a link with link tags, and provide the url (address) for the link in the opening tag. See examples below.
